A 3-year-old girl named Samira was raped by unknown men in the Shibirghan, the centre of Jozjan province.

According to Mahboobullah, the spokesperson of Jozjan’s governor, the small girl was kidnapped two days ago and later freed in Shibirghan.
He elaborated that her physical examination confirmed the sexual assault and the doctor who did not want to mention his name, stated that she had been ruthlessly raped but assured that she was doing fine now.
This incident took place when a 13-year-old girl was gang-raped by five gunmen in the Sar Pul province.
It merits a mention that four days ago following a report on rape victims which was aired by ATN private TV, five administrators of security in Sar Pul province were fired under the orders of President Hamid Karzai.
