RAWA aid package to earthquake victims in Nahrin

May 31 - June 4, 2002 once again a rather large food shipment from RAWA was distributed among earthquake victims in 8 villages of Nahrin. A team of 11 RAWA activists and many other local supporters took part in the food distribution operation from which approximately 1,000 of the most deserving families benefited. In the meantime, RAWA members visited the suffering families and local girls’ and boys’ schools, and assured them of further assistance from RAWA.
