RAWA's aid to earthquake victims
in Samangan province
On Mar.12, 2002 RAWA distributed food among earthquake victims in Khuram and
Sarbagh villages of Samangan province in Northern Afghanistan. Over 100 people were killed and hundreds were injured in a heavy earthquake in the area. Hundreds of families lost everything even their agricultural lands were covered with stones fell down from mountains.
Khuram and Sarbagh governor thanked RAWA for its help.
