Afghanistan, the "hell" created by the US and the West, burns every day in the fire of a new form of oppressions. In this land, the wound of Farkhunda had not yet healed when another Farkhunda became the victim of the misogynistic culture and the religious fascism of the Taliban and their financial supporters; the Taliban's enmity toward women and their elimination from all spheres of life grows broader every day; public medieval punishments and executions have become the daily preoccupation of the bloodthirsty Taliban; young girls and boys, under the burden of deadly poverty, unemployment, psychological pressure, insult and violence, and deprivation from work and education, commit suicide, and thousands of other sufferings have turned this country into a prison in which its people are crushed at every moment. Our society is gripped by such profound disgust and hatred toward the Taliban's reactionary domination that it needs only a spark for the storm of the people's anger to erupt.
While the women of Afghanistan, wounded and half-alive, are trampled beneath the hooves of Taliban executioners, their foreign masters and supporters, who used to cry out about "human rights," "democracy," and "women's rights", have not only remained silent in the face of this blatant oppression, but with rare shamelessness support these criminals and send them sacks of dollars; they open embassies and consulates for them and welcome the murderers of our people with red carpets. This blatant betrayal of our people by the imperialist powers, and their horrifying genocide and fascism in collaboration with the Zionists in Gaza, proved for the thousandth time that for these butchers of humanity, "human rights" is only a weapon for trapping other nations, and they themselves mock this human value in Hitler-style ways.
As a political organization, we have repeatedly emphasized that justice, freedom, democracy, and human rights are neither obtained through pleading and supplication nor are gifts that plundering and occupying countries grant us. Gaining these values and ensuring their durability is possible only through awareness, organizing, and struggle by the oppressed. The paper-thin and false "freedom" and "human rights" that were promoted during the twenty years of occupation by the US/NATO and their Afghan lackeys, we saw how they vanished overnight and handed Afghanistan wholesale to the savage group they had raised. Imperialism and fundamentalism are two sides of the same coin, and in the past hundred years we have repeatedly witnessed that dominating countries, especially the US, have used this weapon against progressive and leftist governments, organizations and movements, while supporting and arming the enemies of freedom and justice.
After all this treachery and crime, the greed of the US and the West toward Afghanistan still has not ended. For this reason, their Jehadi servants, fugitive technocrats, and some women who have sold themselves, traitors to women's rights and decorative showpieces of conferences, receive medals every day under different titles from notorious and blood-stained institutions, and they are promoted so that in the future puppet and hollow government they may, as in the past, safeguard their interests. The people of Afghanistan must be alert so they are not deceived by the ethnic slogans shamelessly raised by West-based traitors in order to gain status, and must unitedly reject these mercenary elements and agents of foreigners. These treacherous, separatist slogans serve only to reinforce the blood-soaked and treasonous rule of the Taliban, and do nothing to heal the countless wounds of our oppressed and suffering people
Meanwhile, our struggling and progressive women must not allow their achievements to be plundered by a few deal-making and lobbying women of the Taliban and Jehadists such as Naheed Farid, Shukria Barakzai, Fawzia Koofi, Manizha Bakhtari, Nargis Nehan, Shaharzad Akbar, Asila Wardak, Sima Samar, Habiba Sarabi, Shinkai Karokhail and other Western puppets. To achieve victory, it is necessary to expel from their ranks and expose the real and filthy faces of those who undermine the cause of women's rights.
The Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) believes that the lifespan of mercenary and reactionary groups is not long, and they cannot forever continue their shameful domination riding on the fingertips of their foreign masters. Therefore, inspired by the heroic and epic resistance of the people of Gaza, it is our duty to defeat the puppets of the US, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey, Qatar etc., and by achieving freedom, justice, and democracy based on secularism, attain our human rights.
