4 civilians killed, 5 children injured in Farah bombing

One area resident Mir Ahmad said a woman and three men were among those killed in the attack, which left five children wounded

At least four civilians were killed and five others injured during a roadside bombing in the Khak-i-Safid district of western Farah province on Sunday, an official said.

The explosion took place in Archi area at around 7am, when a car struck the roadside bomb, the town’s administrative head, Abdul Khaliq Nawrozi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

One area resident Mir Ahmad said a woman and three men were among those killed in the attack, which left five children wounded.

Public health official Abdul Hakim Rassouli confirmed three injured people had been evacuated to hospital. He would not comment on their condition, however.
