18-Year-Old Girl Killed After Months of Domestic Violence in Ghor

According to reports, she had previously fled to her father-in-law’s home after suffering repeated abuse and told her mother that she feared she would be killed if she returned. She was later forced to return to her husband’s home.

Farzana was eventually killed after severe abuse, including having boiling water poured over her head and body.
