A journalist’s family members were shot death in Ghor province, Afghanistan

According to the sources, a brother and two nephews of Bismillah Adel were killed

Security sources in Ghor province confirmed that five members of the family of Bismillah Adel, a journalist who was recently killed, were shot by gunmen.

An unnamed government source in Ghor, speaking on condition of anonymity, told 8 Sobh newspaper that three members of the journalist’s family were killed and two others were injured in the incident.

According to the sources, a brother and two nephews of Bismillah Adel were killed and two other members of his family were injured. Bismillah Adel was recently killed by gunmen in Ghor.

Local authorities in Ghor said gunmen opened fire on the family in a village of Ghor province on Thursday night.

One of the brothers of the journalist that was killed by gunmen, was a police officer in the province. Bismillah Adel, a journalist and director of Radio Azadi was assassinated two months ago by unknown individuals near the city of Firuzkuh, the capital of Ghor province.
