A woman in northern Samangan claims a judge who she married about four years ago raped her daughter from her late husband when she was 13-years-old.
The mother claimed a judge in Samangan's primary court married her before he raped her daughter when she was only 13.
Telling the story of her marriage, the 42-year-old mother said the judge, who is now under police custody, forcibly married her about four years ago when she visited the court for a legal case she had filed.
"The judge asked me to marry him. And he promised me to buy a separate house for me," the mother said.
She claimed that four years back, her judge husband raped her 13-year-old daughter several times and that she gave birth to a baby boy who is now three years old.
In addition, she said her daughter, 17, is now pregnant for the second time.
She went on to say that she was afraid of her husband and that she could not raise her voice against the brutality.
"I want justice and the judge must be punished," the woman said. However she eventually broke her silence after appearing in an interview with TOLOnews.
"This man should be executed and if this doesn't take place, the court should hang us," said the daughter.
The Samangan Police, meanwhile, said the suspect has been arrested.
"The judge is under police custody and his case will be referred to the court soon," Samangan Police Chief Mohammad Baqir Massoud said.
The court officials however did not respond to TOLOnews' calls for information.
The incident has shocked the residents in Samangan. They strongly condemned the incident and asked the government to bring the culprit to justice.
