Man kills his two wives with axe in Nothern Afghanistan

This is one of the most vicious and horrible cases of domestic violence in Mazar-e-Sharif.

On the night of 3rd February 2008 a man in Mazar-e-Sharif killed his two wives with an axe. The man was arrested by the police. According to the police authorities of Mazar-e-Sharif, this man introduced himself as Sahib Khan of Takhar province.

On that night he had suddenly attacked his two wives with an axe at his home in Nasrat Abad district and killed both of them in a horrendous way. The people who knew the murderer claimed that he had four children from his first wife and had married the second one six months back.

This is counted as one of the most vicious and horrible cases of domestic violence in Mazar-e-Sharif.

Also, the police of Jowzjan said that they have arrested a man who had raped an eleven year old girl. Presently this little girl is under treatment in hospital in Shibirghan province and her condition is improving. General Ameen Zada Chief of security in Jowzjan said the man has been arrested and his case has been sent to the Attorney.‬

Although some criminals are arrested by police, but due to greave corruption, they are usually released by bribing police officers or middling of powerful warlords and members of parliament.
