Newroz message from RAWA: The rotting regime is condemned to death

RAWA women sent the message to Free Women’s Movement (TJA) and emphasized the importance of the women’s solidarity and sent their greetings to women resisting against dictators in the Middle East from past to present

NEWS CENTER- Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) sent a message to Kurdish women on the occasion of Newroz. “Erdoğan’s reactionary and fascist regime may create serious obstacles for the Kurdish people and put the Kurdish pioneers into prison, but we know that the rotting regime is condemned to death in the presence of the resistance of the Kurdish people, in particular women.”

The strongest women’s organization in Afghanistan, Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) issued a solidarity message on the occasion of Newroz. RAWA women sent the message to Free Women’s Movement (TJA) and emphasized the importance of the women’s solidarity and sent their greetings to women resisting against dictators in the Middle East from past to present. In the statement, RAWA women underline that the Kurdish people have a long history of struggle against dictators and state that they wanted to meet the great Kurdish women fighting in the front rank and join the struggle of them in some way. The women write in the statement, “A nation with hundreds of heroes like Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan, Leyla Şaylemez, Leyla Qasim, Cylan Ozlab, Figen Yüksekdağ, Sebahat Tuncel, Ceylan Bağrıyanık can never be defeated. Erdoğan’s reactionary and fascist regime may create serious obstacles for the Kurdish people and put the Kurdish pioneers into prison, but we know that the rotting regime is condemned to death in the presence of the resistance of the Kurdish people, in particular women. History shows that such oppression only raises and strengthens the movements fighting for freedom.”
