For a better future

Taliban ruled once in Afghanistan
They made the country one huge concentration camp for women
But RAWA kept the torch of hope alive
Even in the darkest days
RAWA kept on the light
And continued to struggle for womens’ right
Although it was a hard kind of fight
I took Nine Eleven to show the West what is Taliban
I was afraid their overthrow wouldn’t happen during my lifetime no more
But it did
I am happy to see them away
But terror must still be kept at bay
The Northern Alliance is still oppressing human right
The way to freedom and democracy is still wide
But when I saw the Taliban rule overthrown
Why shoudn’t I see Jehadi rule overthrown?
I hope that day is not to far but it inspires my hope to know
RAWA is keeping the torch of hope alive also now
RAWA keeps on the light
And continues to struggle for womens’ right
Although it’s a hard kind of fight
But the future will be bright
